FYI - Truth

–noun
1. the true or actual state of a matter
2. conformity with fact or reality; verity:
3. a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like.
4. the state or character of being true.
5. actuality or actual existence.
6. an obvious or accepted fact; truism; platitude.
7. honesty; integrity; truthfulness.
8. ideal or fundamental reality apart from and transcending perceived experience
9.agreement with a standard or original.
10. accuracy, as of position or adjustment.
11. Archaic . fidelity or constancy.

#8 Is the correct definition of what truth means.  Do you understand it?  It means that the truth is different to everyone.  This is why I deal with facts, not truths.  Maybe I am that way because when I was growing up, my mom would tell me something was the truth and if I questioned it, well even if I didn't, she followed it up with "It's a scientific fact".  Now knowing that my mom read 99% of the time and didn't watch TV, she had to be correct, right?  As an adult and evaluating people and what they say and do, well too bad everyone doesn't deal in facts.

I got my degree in Philosophy and due to this fact, I look at both sides of all situations and try to at least understand both sides' positions.  Face it, even the crazies have reasons for their actions.  Of course they aren't always valid reasons but they have them.  And they are valid reasons according to all the voices in their heads : ).

How many times have you been talking to friend or family member and they are telling you some scandal and they say "it's the truth!"  Then later you hear another side to the story that is completely different and you think, hmmm who is lying?  Well each person's story is the "truth" to them.  Or basically whatever puts them in the best light.  I have to say I only tell things about myself that are good.  If the fact is, that I did or acted foolish I just don't bring it up.  That way I don't have to lie.   Also as I have said before, I speak of personal experience, not what others tell me.

Don't be so quick to judge when you hear something.  Remember there is another side to the story.  Just because someone tells you it is the truth, doesn't mean it is.

FYI - Sabotage

Noun
any undermining of a cause.

SYNONYMS

destruction, disruption, overthrow, treachery, frustrate, undermine, mischief

There are lots of women out there who are sabotagers (is that a word?).  Now from the above definition you may say what's the cause they are sabotaging?  Well for the sake of time, space and reading ability, let's just say women could rule the world.  I know you have heard this statement many times before.  Really women do you know how true it is?  I guess not, because things would be so different if we all did.

I just don't understand or "get" the majority of women out there.  You all must have received a handbook at some point that I didn't get or maybe I refused it.  You are needy, psychotic, backstabbing, whiny, paranoid,  hateful, scandalous, irresponsible, co-dependent, narcissistic, ignorant, stupid, hold grudges, self loathing, gold diggers, have no self-esteem, haters, fighters, lazy, demanding, controlling, the list is too long.

Here are a few ways you crazy bitches can stop sabotaging the rest of us:

*if you were dumped, let it go....no one cares anymore, it doesn't matter why, move on.

*it doesn't matter how much of whatever you are, there is someone that is more and someone that is less (pretty, fat, skinny, smart, rich, etc)

*men are not the value of your existence on this earth.  If you don't have one, well you will survive honey.  If you do have one, and he is truly a good one, then treat him good.  If you have a POS then tell him to kick rocks.

*if your friend is dating someone and they break up, it's not ok to talk to that guy about your friend!!  this would actually make you not a friend.  Apparently some of you don't understand this or you do and don't give a shit.  Then you wonder why you don't have any friends.

*no one is responsible for taking care of you but, oh guess who, YOU damnit.  If you have help from whomever, by all means accept graciously, but DON'T expect it.

*if you have children, take care of them first.  It's ok to want some time/things for yourself, but only after the kids have what they need.  You don't dump the kids off with whomever so you can go "hang out" with your boyfriend or whatever.

*your kid's feelings come first, not yours.  Just because you are mad at their daddy, don't take it out on them.

*don't call someone more than twice.  Whoever it is, two calls is sufficient to leave a voice mail.  If they want to talk to you right then they will answer the phone or call you back, if they don't, leave them alone.  That 67th time of calling is NOT going to get them to answer the phone, seriously.  And if they have been in a horrible accident or something, someone will contact you.  This is 2010, you will find out by phone, email or at least freaking Facebook.

*if you are in a relationship, everyday is not going to be rainbows and unicorns.  So don't think your life should live out like a romantic comedy or some music video.  Some days it will and other days you will feel like you are in one of the Exorcist movies.

*don't ask for a man's opinion if you don't want it.  He shouldn't have to lie to you in order not to hurt your feelers.

*the more you try to control a man, the less you will.

*not all men are bad

*not all women are good mothers

*men are not mind readers, say what you want in a couple of sentences.

*men don't like to talk about feelings

*men like to watch sports, they like to watch action movies, etc.  Most of your homes have at least 2 TV's. You can watch TV separately, you won't blow up if you aren't sitting next to him at all times.

*don't make men shop, most of them hate it and it just makes both of you miserable.

*stop competing with every other woman in the world.

This list could go on and on.  I will leave it for now.  When I think of more I will add, or you can add, I would like to see what the rest of you think................

FYI - Photos can say a thousand words......

Some days you don't wanna talk you just wanna do this to everyone you see......

I have a GENIE in my life, she has granted me more than three wishes though!!!

My boys used to call this movie Booty and the Beeetch!!!  Seriously, funny.
GROVER!!!!  He was my favorite pal as a little (well ok, younger girl).

Apparently Lion O and the other Thundercats made Steve and Bruce late for school in the mornings, damn them, I always missed the last ten minutes of the show b/c I WOULD not be late for school!!!!!

Yes he may be/been a tramp to all the other bitches out there, but he was just trying to find his way back to his Lady.

You have to admire Tom, he NEVER wins, but he keeps trying and keeps trying........

All of us have a few of these evil characters in our lives:  evil mother (step mother/mother in law), puppy killer for narcissistic reasons, child kidnapper/money grubber, and jealous one that wants to steal your voice!!!!

I love you, no matter how much you think I stink!!!!!

NOW BACK OFF!!!!!

FYI - Immature/Immaturity

Adjective -
1. not fully grown or developed
2. deficient in maturity; lacking wisdom, insight, emotional stability, etc.
3. a less common term for youthful

“Jealousy is a disease, love is a healthy condition. The immature mind often mistakes one for the other, or assumes that the greater the love, the greater the jealousy -- in fact, they're almost incompatible; one emotion hardly leaves room for the other. Both at once can produce unbearable turmoil...”  Robert Heinlein

"Immaturity is the incapacity to use one's intelligence without the guidance of another." ~ Immanuel Kant

Be careful you aren't quilty of this when you say it about someone else.....

That's all I got to say about that.

FYI - Narcissistic

Noun

From narcissism or narcism

1. an exceptional interest in or admiration for oneself, esp one's physical appearance

2. sexual satisfaction derived from contemplation of one's own physical or mental endowments

So a friend of mine was called this the other day and so I thought I would talk about it.

First it was used in the wrong context that the person intended it for.  Also, that person was projecting their own issues on my friend.

Everyone is concerned with their physical appearance, so really to call someone a Narcissus isn't a cut down. I think what the person meant to call my friend was egocentric

–adjective

1. having or regarding the self or the individual as the center of all things: an egocentric philosophy that ignores social causes.

2. having little or no regard for interests, beliefs, or attitudes other than one's own; self-centered: an egocentric person; egocentric demands upon the time and patience of others.

And again actually that would be describing that person that was doing the name calling.  To make it worse, this person had the nerve in all their intelligence to try to say "in case you are too dumb to know what this means it means.....".  That statement in and of itself means you have no idea what the hell you are talking about. Honey if you are going to take the time to write a mean letter to someone insulting them, please by all means do it correctly!

I keep telling you if someone calls you names they are talking about themselves and/or some insecurity they have.  I do call people bitches, but guess what, I am a bitch so I can say it all I want. Name calling is also done when you have no other recourse.  Like in an argument and someone is really right and you know in your mind you are really wrong, you just say ...."well you are fat loser".  What?  Please do better than that.  Bring it a little stronger.  You are what we call "weak sauce" at our house.  You can take that BS somewhere else, we don't have time for it.  Oh and don't forget the all great saying "bless their heart".  Didn't you know you can talk all kinds of smack about someone and as long as you follow it up with "bless their heart" it's ok!!!!  :))

Also people blame the issues/drama in their lives on others because they don't want to admit they are the driving force.  They don't know how to fix it and they know deep down they are WRONG.

I guess I was really narcissistic this morning when I put on matching clothes, fixed my hair, brushed my teeth and put make up on.  I am only egocentric if you are stupid, ignorant and boring to me!!! wink wink....and if you get that statement then laugh your behind off!

Now I know YOU little lady didn't understand any of this, but you are probably too busy trying to find someone else to blame your failing life on to have time to read this!!!

FYI - Respect

noun

1. a particular, detail, or point (usually prec. by in ): to differ in some respect.

2. relation or reference: inquiries with respect to a route.

3. esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability: I have great respect for her judgment.

4. deference to a right, privilege, privileged position, or someone or something considered to have certain rights or privileges; proper acceptance or courtesy; acknowledgment: respect for a suspect's right to counsel; to show respect for the flag; respect for the elderly.

5. the condition of being esteemed or honored: to be held in respect.

6. respects, a formal expression or gesture of greeting, esteem, or friendship: Give my respects to your parents.

7. favor or partiality.

My friends asked me to write about this, because in my house we have great respect for each other and it is very apparent.  In my house we all respect each other from the adults down to the kiddos.

Did you read the above?  Do you understand it?

Respect seems to be missing from many relationships these days.  I mean in any kind of relationship, adults and children.  To have respect from someone else you MUST, have respect for yourself, love yourself and always treat others with respect FIRST.  If you are not doing that then you absolutely can't demand it from someone else.

Some people think they automatically get respect because of their gender, how much money they make, their position in the work place, etc.  No that is not how or why you get respect.  Many who demand respect, there is a fine line with them regarding "control".    And wanting to control someone else has to do with low self esteem.  That is what I said, "low self esteem" and also fear of losing.  The train of thought is "if I can control this person they won't hurt me or leave me".  WRONGO.  They will hate you and leave you.  I guarantee it.

This is men, women and any kind of relationship.  I have seen kids that treat each other this way, and of course they learned it.  So hence the 'vicious cycle" that has came from generation to generation.

The other part of this equation is how you react when you feel you are being disrespected.  Do you belittle the other person, get angry, lash out, call them names, yell at them, i bet all.  Remember that mostly people in your life that you are in relationships with are not usually purposefully trying to upset you and make your life a living hell.  So don't do that to them.  Discuss the issue and if you can't then walk away until you can.

Love each other and me a respectable person that people will want to respect.

FYI - Clarification

CLARIFY -
verb (used with object)

1. to make (an idea, statement, etc.) clear or intelligible; to free from ambiguity.

2. to remove solid matter from (a liquid); to make into a clear or pellucid liquid.

3. to free (the mind, intelligence, etc.) from confusion; revive:

I can't believe I have to explain this.  Everything I write about here is never from heresay or from what I have been "told" or "lied" to about.  It all comes from personal experience and what I see with my own eyes.  I know this is really unbelievable that I actually have my own mind and speak it.  But, those who KNOW me know that I don't base anything I say on what others think or tell me.  I investigate, read for myself and get the facts.

Two quotes -

"Accuse - To affirm another's guilt or unworth most commonly as a justification of ourselves for having wronged him" - Ambrose Bierce

"Of all the liars in the world, sometimes the worst are your own fears" - Rudyard Kipling

This is written quickly and just with some statements.

When you do something wrong to someone else and you get caught you usually justify your actions with "well you did it to me".
It takes one to know one, which is something that needs to be remembered when name calling is involved.  Actually, since name calling is so immature that person wouldn't have the intelligence enough to know that.

People who lie about others must fear those they lie about. I am  not nor have never been a liar because i have no fear of other people. The true people in my life know I love them and they don't fear me therefore they don't need to lie to me.

When people are caught in a lie, telling the half or partial truth doesn't make up or take away the whole lie in the first place. Some people don't even know they are lying, they tell themselves something and believe it and it isn't a lie to them.

Hope this helps understand things.
